Join Susan Spall on this Friends of Winckley Square guided walk to discover Preston through its walls exploring the city’s striking large-scale murals. Celebrating local heritage, culture, and iconic figures, these beautifully painted artworks tell the story of Preston’s past while looking confidently toward its future. Learn how projects such as Paint Preston, alongside commissions by local businesses, have transformed the city centre, revitalising streets and turning everyday spaces into a vibrant urban gallery. This walk offers a fresh perspective on Preston’s identity, creativity, and community pride.
