Join Sheffield Youth Orchestra showcasing the incredible talent of our youth players in their Spring Concert - Fire, Foil and Fanfare.Experience an afternoon of exceptional music making, designed to captivate listeners of all ages. Fire, Foil, and Fanfare brings together the most vivid colors of the orchestra, from the heroic, galloping energy of Suppé’s Light Cavalry Overture to the mystical, rhythmic intensity of Falla’s Ritual Fire Dance. The program then shifts to the elegant precision of the English court with Britten’s Five Courtly Dances, before concluding with the unmistakable passion and flair of Bizet’s Carmen across two suites. Featuring recognizable themes and driving rhythms, this concert offers an epic introduction to the power of live orchestral performance with our young players centre stage!
