In-Person Women’s Circle – Sedbergh
About
There are times in life when you don’t need answers—you just need somewhere to pause. This circle is for women who sense they are standing in a quiet in-between.
You might not have the words for it yet, but you know something is shifting. You carry a knowing in your bones, even if you’re not sure what comes next.
This circle is for you if:
- You want to be witnessed without judgement, advice, or fixing
- You’re drawn to listening as much as sharing, and learning through presence
- You’re longing for real connection, beyond surface-level pleasantries
- You feel a pull toward this place, its land, and its rhythms
- You have the time and capacity to sit in circle, without rushing or distraction
- You’re willing to be patient with yourself and to trust what’s unfolding
You don’t need to have answers. You don’t need to arrive with a polished story. You only need a willingness to stay with what’s true.
This circle is not for everyone—and that’s intentional.
It may not be the right fit if:
- You’re looking to be fixed, coached, or advised
- You feel uncomfortable with silence or slowness
- You tend to lead, analyse, or steer group spaces
- You’re not able to commit to the shared agreements of confidentiality, respect, and presence
- You’re seeking a quick emotional release rather than steady, grounded reflection
Why do we gather?
To come back into ourselves.
To return to what’s been waiting beneath the noise, the roles, the endless outward attention.
To sit close to the inner flame—steady, alive, not needing to be proved.
We gather because something in us knows that change doesn’t always come through action.
Sometimes it comes through attention.
Through being witnessed.
Through staying.
In circle, threads are woven—not through effort, but through presence.
Stories brush up against one another. Silences speak.
What’s been carried alone is no longer held in isolation.
In this space, something quiet begins to shift.
Not because anyone pushes it, but because being seen without judgement allows what’s true to surface.
Here, the circle becomes more than the individuals within it.
Not louder.
Deeper.
You may leave with clarity—or simply with a softer grip on what you’ve been holding.
You may speak, or you may listen.
You may feel steadied, unsettled, relieved, or quietly changed.
What happens here can’t be forced, predicted, or rushed.
And that is part of the work.
The room is held.
The pace is slow.
Silence is not something to fill, but something to rest in.
Voices rise when they’re ready.
Listening is active.
Nothing is demanded.
This is not a space for fixing, analysing, or performing.
It’s a space for honesty, patience, and depth.
You’re allowed to arrive unfinished.
You’re allowed to take your time.
If something in you recognises this space, trust that.
You don’t need to be ready.
You don’t need to know what you’ll say.
You don’t need to carry it alone any longer.
The circle doesn’t rush you.
It doesn’t ask for more than you can give.
It’s already here—steady, waiting, and willing to hold what you bring.
