The Hawking Building, part of the UK’s Science Museum, is a purpose-built collection centre caring for over 300,000 historic objects from the Science Museum Group Collection.Opened following an ambitious project launched in 2018, the building brings these remarkable objects together under one roof for conservation, research and public access. This guided tour allows you to get up close to world-class collections reflecting developments in science, technology, engineering, medicine, transport and media. Price includes a “Women in Astronomy” booklet and a healthy snack to keep your energy up (there are no catering facilities on site). Places are limited to 15.

The venue is fully accessible but the tour involves a lot of walking.
