About the speaker
Chris is a qualified Local Historian with a keen interest in the history of Cumbrian farming communities and the traditional homes that they occupied. In the past her research has centred on the Northern Fells of the English Lake District but since moving to the Anglo/Scottish Border region she has been delving into the history of the reivers and the subsequent pacification of the Border.
