Join us in the North Welsh Mountains on a two-day West African Drumming workshop with Mohamed Gueye. Come along for the weekend or just one day! Day tickets range from £45-50 and weekend tickets £80-90 currently on an Early Bird deal.Mohamed was born in Dakar, Senegal, and as part of a large Griot family, he started playing percussion at 5 years old, going on to perform professionally at 15.
He has graced the stages of Womad, African Drum Village and Drum Camp and performed in venues such as the Olympic Park and The Southbank Centre.
Mohamed has a reputation as a lively, engaging and friendly teacher. His workshops promise to bring a smile to your face and rhythms to your soul!
Held in the stunning UNESCO World Heritage town of Blaenau Ffestiniog, which has many accommodation options and can be easily reached via train or car.

We also have an African supper club and music on the Saturday night, 7-11pm, £20 tickets include food and are available separately from the workshop tickets.
