About
Explore the wonders of Gelli Printing to create your own beautiful Christmas cards & Decorations. Gelli Printing is a super versatile and accessible form of printing, which can easily be done at home as there is no need for a printing press. Using acrylic paints this technique allows you to have fun with colour and mark making to create unique, one-of-a-kind monoprints - from abstract designs and patterns, to realistic images.During the workshop you'll create an array of prints that will be used to create your own Christmas cards and Decorations . By the end of the workshop you will have gained an insight into the wonders of Gelli Printing, explored a range of pattern and mark making techniques (including using laser prints and different media to lift the paint and create a range of textures and patterns) and have created cards and decorations to take home for Christmas.
What's included:
All materials and equipment are provided, plus tea, coffee and biscuits to keep us going. Aprons will be provided, however we will be using acrylic paint which can be difficult to wash out of clothes when dry so please wear clothes you don't mind getting paint on by accident.
Experience levels:
All levels welcome from beginners with no experience to those who have experience of printing and want to add Gelli Printing to their repertoire of mark making techniques.
