Walking in the footsteps of the ancestors, we’ll trace an ancient processional way hidden in plain site across this iconic landscape, giving you an experience of Tennyson Down like no other. As we pass neolithic monuments and take in sweeping views across land and sea, you’ll discover how prehistoric people understood this dramatic landscape and why they marked them as sacred with their enduring monuments.
Walk level: 3 – Mostly off-road paths with uneven surfaces. Steep hills and inclines throughout. Expect steps and or styles. Good level of fitness required.
