Learn to Sew/Develop your sewing skills with Marrit (Jun 27)

Weekly course for beginners or those with more experience.

Date: Monday 7th June 2027 - 12th July 2027

10am-1pm for 6 weeks


Projects can vary depending on skill level but may include learning :
To use a sewing machine create a stitch directory
Make bunting, triangle or heart, fabric bowl, coasters, sleep mask, tote bag

Fabric and thread from our donated collection are included. Some projects may include such items as wadding, binding and zips which you may need to provide, your tutor will advise.

The tutor keeps several different sewing patterns that can be used. If students want to bring their own pattern, the tutor is happy to support in achieving completion of the project.
The courses will continue throughout the year, allowing you the opportunity to continue your sewing journey if you choose to.

Please Note: Our sewing classes are designed with adults in mind. We do welcome 16- and 17-year-olds accompanied by an adult.

Please note that our craft area is a shared space, and other events or activities may be taking place concurrently with your course. We kindly ask that you be mindful of other attendees using the area during your visit.
