Craft Sessions

Craft Sessions:Join us for our taster craft sessions and complimentary refreshments. Learn a new skill in peaceful surroundings at the Heritage Museum.
All proceeds go to fundraising for Museum activities.
19th May - 7pm - 9pm - Learn all about botanical eco printing with a short demo of how to make a simple book with the prints at the end.
23rd June 7pm - 9pm. Learn all about crafting with recycled items such as felted soap or bunting. You can bring in your own soap and learn about this process.
21st July - Learn all about beach crafts and cyanotype printing. There will be a demo of cyanotype printing where people can purchase kits to take home and have a go at it. You can bring in your own beach finds. Extra materials will be provided for crafts.
11th August - Learn all about making lavender wands! You can bring in your own bunch of lavender and learn about this process.
15th September 7-9pm- Harris Tweed Weaving
13th October 7-9pm – Boro/Slow Stitching and a demo of stringing garlic and onions by plaiting them together by the leaves,
17th November 7-9pm – Christmas decorations with broken Jewellery.
