Join Clare Sam’s on a sustainable fashion retreat.In this workshop you will learn tips and tricks to repair and re-work your wardrobe.
During the day there will be sessions exploring visible mending, darning, and patching techniques to explore mending as a symbol of sustainability.
There will also be activities looking at upcycling clothing and household textiles, and advice on alterations and customisation.
Ditch the fast fashion and buy into a more mindful approach to your wardrobe choices.
Clare Sams practice is within the realm of textiles, creating wall-based artworks, soft sculptures, immersive installations and collaborative community projects. Sustainability is at the core of Sams practice, minimising the environmental impact of the work through using sustainable, recycled and biodegradable materials.
Join us for the day. There is a cafe on site or bring your own lunch and enjoy our beautiful garden.
