As part of Echo Festival Lanercost 2026, join us for a relaxed and inspiring poetry workshop led by local poet David Bamford.Taking place in the intimate setting of Dacre Hall Supper Room, this session offers a chance to explore creativity through words, whether you’re new to poetry or looking to develop your writing further. Guided by David’s experience and insight, participants will be encouraged to reflect on place, community, and personal perspective — themes at the heart of this year’s festival.
With just 20 places available, this workshop is designed to be small, supportive, and engaging.
A café will be running in Dacre Hall throughout the day, with refreshments available from Echo Eats Pop-Up, making it easy to settle in, take a break, and enjoy the wider festival atmosphere.
