Richard and Lorna at The Great War Project have very kindly offered to host a fundraising event inspired by the war memorial plaque at the entrance of the South Parish Church. It will feature local actor Frazer Kirkland and Richard Conahan of the Great War Project in an audio-visual tribute to some of the names on the memorial.
Fittingly, it will take place in the billiard room at the McKechnie, which was the recruitment office for Girvan during the 1st World War.
