Sunbeams September Stroll
About
We are delighted you have made contact and are interested in registering for our special Sunbeams September Stroll which is a sponsored event taking place on the afternoon of Sunday 6th September for Family and Friends to enjoy. All monies raised ensure that we can continue providing vital ‘Community Music Therapy’ and continue helping disabled and disadvantaged children and adults improve their health and wellbeing through the creative freedom of music.
The Sunbeams September Stroll is accessible for all as this is the ‘Walk Without Stiles Route’ from Keswick to Threlkeld along the old Railway Line. This year to help with number capasity we have 2 waves taking place.
You can choose to walk at 1pm from Keswick to Threlkeld Return which is 6.2 Miles in total which will include delicious cream scones and Refreshments at Threlkeld Village Hall on route.
If you prefer the 3.1 mile option from Keswick to Threlkeld this starts at 2pm and you will finish your challenge with cream scones and refreshments.
Whatever Challenge you decide please be assured that every step achieved will help make a difference and will enable our 8 specialist Musicians deliver our Music for Life® and Music for Dignity® Music Sessions throughout Cumbria.
We kindly ask that all adults aim to raise a minimum sponsorship total of £20 and families £50. Every penny really does count!!! This generosity will help us to continue to ‘Bring the Power of Music to Cumbria’ supporting over 2600 beneficiaries each month at the Music Centre, at over 50 Outreach Residential Homes and Community Centres and via Zoom.
The easiest way to fundraise is to send your friends and family the link to our Charity Just Giving page using the link below, this is so simple and will only take a few minutes. Just Giving is a great way to tell your family and friends about your challenge and share your story (if you wish). This is an event campaign page for all who register to use or if you prefer to set up your own page this is no problem, all funds raised will be making a vital impact.
