Menopause Matters - Barrrow
About
Menopause Matters is a welcoming monthly drop-in for those who want to talk openly about menopause, midlife wellbeing and the challenges that can come with this stage of life. These informal evening sessions combine conversation, peer support and practical information in a friendly and relaxed environment. Whether you're experiencing symptoms yourself, supporting someone else, or simply looking to connect with other women, you're very welcome.
Each session includes time for discussion and shared experiences, alongside opportunities to explore topics such as sleep, mood, hot flushes, brain fog, confidence, work, relationships, healthy habits and self-care.
Where possible, local health professionals and specialists will join us to share insights and answer questions. When they can't attend in person, we will work with local partners to gather answers to common questions and signpost attendees towards trusted sources of support and information.
There is no pressure to speak, no expectation to share personal experiences, and no requirement to attend every session. Come along for a chat, a brew, and the reassurance that you're not navigating this journey alone.
