As part of Small Charity Week (22–29 June), Lancaster District CVS are offering a limited number of free 1:1 organisational development health check sessions for small VCSFE organisations.
These sessions are designed to help you take a step back, reflect, and identify practical next steps for strengthening your organisation.
During your session, we’ll work through a simple self-assessment checklist together, giving you the opportunity to reflect on your organisation’s current strengths, identify areas for development, talk through challenges in a supportive space and create a mini action plan with practical next steps
The health check will include:
- 💰 Funding & income sustainability
- 📊 Financial systems & processes
- 🧭 Strategic / business planning
- 🧑⚖️ Governance & leadership
- 👥 User-centred services & participation
- 🙌 Volunteering
- 🌍 External environment & partnerships
- 👩💼 HR / staffing
These sessions are ideal for small charities, community groups, voluntary organisations and social enterprises

Places are limited – just 5 appointments on Wednesday 24th June and 5 appointments on Thursday 25th June and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. When you make your booking you will be allocated 1 ticket and asked for the name of one attendee. Please note, you are welcome to bring another person from your organisation along with you to your appointment.
