Lace up your boots and unleash your inner explorer! DG Outdoor Adventure is taking you on an absolute classic 11-mile (17.5 km) trek through the absolute best landscapes, legends, and history that Surrey has to offer.

This isn't just a walk—it’s a journey through time, myth, and jaw-dropping nature. Are you ready to conquer the trail?

• 📅 Date: Sunday, 2nd August

• ⏰ Time: 09:30 AM sharp! (Don't be left behind!)

• 🚀 Launchpad: Puttenham Common Middle Car Park (Suffield Lane, nearest postcode: GU3 1BG).

🗺️ THE EPIC HIGHLIGHTS

We are packing an unbelievable amount of adventure into one single day:

• The Witch’s Lair: We will march past Mother Ludlam's Cave, the legendary home of Surrey's most famous white witch.

• Ancient Ruins: Explore the hauntingly beautiful remains of Waverley Abbey, Britain's very first Cistercian monastery founded all the way back in 1128.

• Literary Lore: Trek through the historic Moor Park estate, where Jonathan Swift once worked while creating Gulliver’s Travels.

• Deep Wilderness: Push through divine pine forests, silver birch woods, and sweeping hills.

• The Quintessential English Village: We'll cross the ancient Wey bridge into Tilford, featuring a stunning village green and the historic Barley Mow pub.

🎒 YOUR SURVIVAL PROTOCOL

To conquer this 11-mile beast, you must come prepared:

• ☀️ Sun Shield: It's August—slap on that suncream and bring extra to reapply!

• 🍫 Rations: Pack plenty of high-energy snacks to keep your engines roaring.

• 💧 Hydration: Bring lots of fluids to stay sharp and hydrated on the trail.

• 🥾 Battle Gear: Dress sensibly for the weather. Think comfortable layers and sturdy walking shoes.
