“ECLMT” – How to use it!

Online :7th October 2026 from 6.00pm-7.30pmECLMT is the Early Communication and Language Monitoring Tool and it is a useful easy way to observe and gauge a child’s level across all areas of language and communication development. This session supports observations for those children you are worried about or can’t quite put your finger on the issues. The tool provides clear evidence for onward referrals or request for help and supports discussions with parents about areas of strength and challenge, with a clear summary page.
It is quick and easy to use and outlines developmental stages for each area of sp, lang and communication and it can be used across the setting as baseline for all children.
