A Georgian Family Garden to a 20th Century Artwork

Join the Friends of the Storey Gardens and find out about the history of the gardens, with award-winning Blue Badge Tourist Guide and owner of Lancaster Walks, Talks & Tours, Gregory Wright. Gregory will trace the gardens’ history from early roots, to the site of a unique artwork by international artist, Mark Dion.Towards the end of the talk, Gregory will lead you into the gardens for a closer look, including at Mark Dion’s The Tasting Garden artwork.
This event is free for all. A donation from you will support future public Friends of the Storey Gardens events, and continuing restoration of the artwork, paths and gardens for everyone to enjoy. You can donate when you book your place, or by cash or card at the event. Thank you.
Drinks/snacks are available from The Storey’s Printroom Café & Bar to take in to the talk.
