Blueprint Making Workshop
About
Learn how technical drawings of yesteryear were duplicated before the era of photocopiers by making your very own blueprint. You will have the opportunity to draw or trace your very own image and then expose it onto paper using the cyanotype process. All materials will be included.The session will be accompanied by a short talk about the process and the history of creating technical drawings. This session is being run as part of a project to restore the Bazalgette Mausoleum in Wimbledon which is the resting place of the eminent civil engineer, Sir Joseph Bazalgette.
