TDark skies are important for nature, cultural heritage and our own health and well-being. Sadly, only 2% of people in Great Britain can truly experience a dark sky at night. We all have a role to play in not just keeping dark skies dark but also reducing light pollution in urban areas. This talk will look at why our dark skies are important, what light pollution is, how we can all make positive changes.
