About
The walk will demonstrate the range of different varieties of fruits and nuts growing in the orchard, their uses and their management.
We will also discuss the conservation management to enhance wild life within the orchard. We will then visit the woodland area and discuss the different native tree species and their role in supporting wildlife. The site is being challenged by the changing climate and this is having different effects on species and varieties.
Free event, as part of Willingham Feast.
Things to know: Dress for the weather and with footwear suitable for rough terrain. If the weather is warm, please do bring a bottle of water.
You may wish to bring a bag for any fruit you wish to take.
Well behaved dogs on a lead are welcome.
We will have a fun quiz to keep the kids engaged.
