Want to learn how to make your own herbal healing balms?Join this hands-on one day workshop offering a deep dive into the alchemy of making your own herbal balms.
Embrace the healing power of plants by making a variety of herbal balms for topical application to support your health whilst being kind to your skin.
We will explore which herbal plants to select and why, what other ingredients to include and how to adapt recipes for a wide number of uses.
In this workshop you will learn to create several types of balms for different purposes, from healing salves and soothing ointments to lip balms and even deodorant.
You will go home with 4 herbal products we have made together.
Please note - most of the balms we will create contain beeswax.
This is a small group workshop for maximum 8 participants.
Suitable for beginners as well as those with some prior experience of herbal medicine.
You will also have the opportunity to sample herbal drinks during the day.
Lunch is not provided but there are plenty of venues for lunch within easy walking distance.
All bookings are strictly non-refundable.
Led by Julia Russell, local herbalist and member of the Association of Master Herbalists. She has been teaching the varied uses of plants for over 25 years.
