About
Perfect Days, Japan, 2023, certificate PG, 2h 5m, Director: Wim Wenders. Hirayama feels content with his life as a toilet cleaner in Tokyo. Outside of his structured routine, he cherishes music on cassette tapes, reads books and takes photos. Through unexpected encounters, he reflects on finding beauty in the world.
Although on the face of it, this may seem an unlikely subject for an uplifting film, those of us who have already seen Perfect Days all agree that this is one not to be missed.
