Who is this for?

Anyone working towards their car Theory Test who wants some extra help, structure or motivation.

You might be preparing for your first attempt, have failed before, struggle to know what to revise, find the questions confusing or simply need a better way of learning than endlessly completing mock tests.

The sessions are suitable for learners at different stages, including those who are dyslexic, autistic, have ADHD or have other learning differences.

What do I get for £49?

Your £49 covers the complete four-session course.

The idea isn’t simply to throw more questions at you. It’s to help you understand how to learn, how to approach the questions and how to build towards passing.

What will we cover in the sessions?

The sessions will cover different parts of Theory Test preparation depending on the needs of the group.

That can include:

• How to approach multiple-choice questions
• Understanding what questions are actually asking
• Revision strategies
• Memory techniques
• Commonly misunderstood topics
• Hazard perception
• How the Theory Test works
• Test-day preparation
• Questions from members of the group

The focus is not just learning answers. It’s understanding enough to work them out.

Is this suitable for dyslexic or neurodiverse learners?

Yes.

Supporting neurodiverse learners is a major part of what Theory Test Explained does.

Chris works extensively with learners with dyslexia, autism, ADHD and other additional learning needs.

The sessions are designed to be clear, practical and flexible rather than relying on one particular way of learning.

Do I need anything to take part?

You’ll need:

• A phone, tablet or computer capable of joining Zoom
• A reasonable internet connection
• Somewhere you can concentrate for the session

Having something available for making notes can also be useful.

You do not need to already be good at theory. That would rather defeat the point.

What if I can’t make all four sessions?

Ideally, attend all four sessions because they work together as a course.

However, we understand that life happens.

If you know that you’re going to miss a session, let us know. We do our best to provide an overview and notes on what was missed. Unfortunately sessions are not recorded as standard due to GDPR.

How do I access the revision site/app?

Details for accessing the online/app-based revision questions will be provided after you have booked.

You’ll then be able to use the revision system alongside the live sessions.

How do I ask other specific questions?

You can ask questions during the live sessions, but if you have a specific question about the course before booking, contact Theory Test Explained.

The course requires a minimum of 4 bookings to run as a group course.

We have achieved this every month, but if we do not reach the minimum number, you will be offered a choice of:

• A 1-hour individual 1:1 Theory Test training session, or
• A full refund
