We look forward to seeing you on 28th November at St Mark’s, Bromley for an evening marking 50 years since Benjamin Britten’s death, featuring some of his most beautiful and compelling choral works.
We are delighted to be joined by the Bromley Boy Singers, the Rosenau Sinfonia and a fabulous array of soloists.
The concert will begin with his Cantata Misericordium (1963) with tenor soloist Alex Aldren, and baritone Henry George Page, followed by the Choral Dances from “Gloriana“ (1953). The Bromley Boy Singers will then perform movements from A Ceremony of Carols (1942).
After the interval, some of the BBS boys will join us, the Rosenau Sinfonia and solo tenor Greg Tassell in a performance of Saint Nicolas (1948).
Tickets wil be available to purchase here until midday on concert day. Tickets will be available on the door to purchase with card or cash.
