About
This workshop is for change-maker organisations and social businesses working in North Lancashire. It follows on from an initial workshop in April 2026, which began to explore how we might work collectively to support each other to create a more regenerative local economy. The themes are drawn from the outcomes of the workshop in April and were identified and collectively agreed in the follow up work.
You can read about the previous workshop here: https://foodfutures.org.uk/building-a-regenerative-economy-from-the-ground-up/
The day will be a space to:
- Catch up, network, share work, challenges and hopes
- Hear the outcomes of scoping work to explore possibilities for place-based funding and resourcing options to support the collective work of our organisations to build a regenerative local economy
- Begin to vision and imagine a bio-regional finance model for our place, here in North Lancashire
- Share campaigns and plans for the coming year to see where there’s coordination possible amongst the organisations to have more impact
- Identify actions and next steps
The workshop is free to attend, but booking is essential as places are limited. Please do join the session - you need not have come to the first workshop in April to join. If you are unable to attend due to capacity, please email ellen@lessuk.org. There is a limited budget to support the attendance of organisations otherwise unable to be represented.
