Samhain with CAS

CAS bring an evening celebrating Samhain - an ancient Gaelic festival that marks the end of the harvest season and the beginning of winter.

CAS are a three/four-piece Celtic music ensemble blending traditional Irish music with contemporary arrangements and original compositions. Featuring fiddle, flute, bouzouki, keyboards, and bodhrán, the band delivers dynamic live performances shaped by extensive international touring experience.

Following the launch of their debut album Tonnta na Maidine (meaning Morning Waves) in Ireland and France, and their successful tour of the North West in July, they are back to celebrate the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain and are joining us at the Gregson for an evening gig followed by a morning music workshop for fiddle, flute and whistle - all abilities welcomed.
