Flute, Whistle and Fiddle Workshop - with CAS

After their Samhain (ancient Gaelic harvest festival) gig the night before, folk ensemble CAS are bringing a morning folk workshop to the Gregson.

CAS are a three/four-piece Celtic music ensemble blending traditional Irish music with contemporary arrangements and original compositions. 

Following the launch of their debut album Tonnta na Maidine (meaning Morning Waves) in Ireland and France, and their successful tour of the North West in July, they are back to celebrate the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain and are joining us at the Gregson for an evening gig followed by a morning music workshop for fiddle, flute and whistle - all abilities welcomed.
