Drowned out voices – Young people and flooding
About
Have you ever wondered how the young people in your life might be affected by a flood? What life is like for children before, during and after a flood incident? Or, perhaps you have assumed their feelings, worries and reactions would simply mirror the adults around them? This session is a chance for parents, grandparents, carers, school governors & professional partners working with young people to join us on an interactive session to hear Callum's experience, the story of a real flood victim, and think about how we could support, listen to and understand young people and their needs in a flood.
