The Moon Under Water

hero
Andrew James Brown loves pubs and this is a show about these very fine establishments.

Join Andrew for tales of horse brasses, Morris dancers and boozy behaviour all mixed into a heady cocktail of George Orwell’s musings on history, philosophy and the odd poem.

Andrew’s obsession began with Orwell’s 1946 essay ‘The Moon Under Water’, in which he provided a detailed description of his ideal public house. Andrew takes you on a journey in his quest to find the perfect pub.
