About
A Real Pain follows two mismatched cousins, David and Benji, who travel to Poland to honour their late grandmother and reconnect with their Jewish heritage. As they journey through historic sites tied to the Holocaust, long‑suppressed tensions surface, forcing them to confront grief, identity, and their complicated relationship. Blending dry humour with emotional depth, the film explores how personal pain and generational memory collide - sometimes uncomfortably, sometimes healingly.
