Mozart Requiem in D Minor, K. 626
Orff Carmina Burana (excerpts)
The Royal Hospital School’s Chapel Choir joins forces once again with Holbrook Choral Society and the Reade Orchestra for this year’s Summer Concert. The programme features two monumental choral works: Mozart’s Requiem, a masterpiece of drama and devotion, and excerpts from Orff’s Carmina Burana, known for its thrilling energy and unforgettable opening chorus. With full orchestra, massed choirs and a cast of outstanding soloists, this promises to be a powerful and exhilarating evening of music in the majestic surroundings of the school chapel.
As part of the 'RHS Festival of the Arts' programme, you are warmly invited to a Drinks Reception in the Jellicoe Design Centre (located at the west end of the campus) from 6pm, where you will be able to view the outstanding work of RHS's art, design and technology pupils.
The bar in the music school will be open from 6.30pm and during the interval, selling a range of Adnams wines, beers and cider - as well as a selection of soft drinks. Cash and card payments accepted.
