Our Public Ride days sessions are bookable below. Our locos will run continuously throughout the session allowing you to ride as much as you wish with your rover ticket.
Join us on 11th October for our Autumn Family day at Rainsbrook Valley Railway — a colourful, cosy day out as the leaves start to turn. Families can enjoy gentle rides behind our miniature steam and diesel engines, explore the site, enjoy hot drinks and soak up that crisp autumn feeling. It’s a relaxed, friendly event full of whistles, smiles, and simple seasonal fun, perfect for every age!.
Children aged under 3 ride for free, but will need a paying adult with them, whilst babes-in-arms not yet able to sit upright must be carried in a suitable and secure papoose.
We have a carriage capable of transporting a wheelchair and passenger. This service is temporary suspended for design improvements and staff training.
There are no steps on-site, allowing access for all, and if it rains - the trains love it even more! So bring suitable clothes and you'll have fun come rain or shine!
