Our Public Ride days sessions are bookable below. Our locos will run continuously throughout the session allowing you to ride as much as you wish with your rover ticket.
Join us for a spooky-but-smiley Halloween Special at Rainsbrook Valley Railway, where friendly ghosts and giggly ghouls take over the tracks. As the sun goes down, families of all ages can enjoy rides lit by lamps and lights, child‑friendly decorations, and a few playful surprises along the way — nothing too scary, just good fun for younger visitors. Dress up if you like, hop aboard, and enjoy a magical, lamp-lit afternoon out at the railway.
Children aged under 3 ride for free, but will need a paying adult with them, whilst babes-in-arms not yet able to sit upright must be carried in a suitable and secure papoose.
We have a carriage capable of transporting a wheelchair and passenger. This service is temporary suspended for design improvements and staff training.
There are no steps on-site, allowing access for all, and if it rains - the trains love it even more! So bring suitable clothes and you'll have fun come rain or shine!
