From the serenity of While Shepherds Watched and the joyful energy of Personent Hodie to Holst’s Christmas Day, Britten’s New Year’s Carol, and the exuberant Shepherd’s Pipe Carol, the evening blends timeless tradition with festive cheer. With moments of intimacy and uplifting highlights with orchestra and quartet soloists, the concert culminates in Hark the Herald Angels Sing.
