About
Students of Kent College will perform Rodgers & Hammerstein's beloved classic The Sound of Music as this year's school musical in October.
Based on the true story of the von Trapp family, the musical follows their romantic beginnings, their search for happiness, and their dramatic escape to freedom as their beloved Austria is absorbed into the Third Reich at the start of the Second World War.
Featuring some of the most memorable songs ever written for the stage, this timeless production includes favourites such as Edelweiss, My Favourite Things, Do-Re-Mi, Climb Ev'ry Mountain, and, of course, the iconic title song, The Sound of Music.
