About
Together they will present a beautiful and evocative programme of songs from Russia, the British Isles and beyond, conjuring wintry scenes of snow and ice, vast starry skies, little robins and the warmth of a cosy fire.
Nette specialises in performing in Russian and will sing the Russian songs in their original language, whilst also sharing translations of their meaning and stories. Each Russian song will be paired with an English-language song that connects with it through theme, atmosphere or story, creating unexpected links between songs from different cultures and traditions.
An intimate and atmospheric evening of music, stories and winter magic, Stars, Snow & Firelight promises to be a truly memorable way to spend a cold December evening.
