Reed's School - Close House Music Competition 2026

A joyous prelude to the bustling calendar of musical events, the Close House Music Competition is often the first event that families of new pupils at the school will attend.

The competition is always one of the highlights of the Close House calendar and a wonderful opportunity for the boys to showcase everything they have been working towards over the past few weeks. Throughout the evening, they will perform both individually and as part of their House ensembles, all hoping to earn points towards the coveted Reed’s House Music Trophy.

This year, we are delighted to welcome Absolute Radio presenter Ben Burrell as our adjudicator for an evening of fantastic music, friendly competition and plenty of House spirit.

We anticipate very high demand, so we kindly ask that you do not request more tickets than you require. This helps us ensure as many families as possible can attend.
