The Next Frontier in Medical Imaging

About

The Vice-Chancellor's Special Guest Events series presents:

The Next Frontier in Medical Imaging: Discovery, Diagnosis and the Future of Health

As part of the Vice-Chancellor’s series of special guest events, we would be delighted if you join us as we explore new frontiers in medical imaging at the birthplace of MRI.

More than 50 years ago, researchers at the University of Nottingham helped transform medicine through the development of MRI. Today, Nottingham researchers are building on that legacy, using advances in medical imaging to tackle some of healthcare's biggest challenges and reshape our understanding of health and disease.

You are invited to join the university's President and Vice-Chancellor, Professor Jane Norman, together with leading researchers, funders and partners, as we explore how new imaging technologies are opening up possibilities that were once beyond our reach.

From earlier diagnosis and improved patient care to new ways of understanding the brain and body, this special event will examine how medical imaging continues to change lives, and why Nottingham remains at the forefront of this rapidly evolving field.
