Oswestry Forest School Playgroup (2–4) | Oswestry School Prep Forest School Stay and Play

Give your child the freedom to explore, discover and grow in the great outdoors. Our Forest School Stay & Play sessions offer a calm, welcoming environment where young children can enjoy nature alongside their parent or carer, building confidence, curiosity and a love of the natural world from an early age.

Led in our beautiful Forest School setting, these sessions are all about unstructured play, gentle exploration and shared experiences. Each week may look a little different, from woodland walks to nature discovery, with occasional opportunities for seasonal activities.

Sessions run every Thursday during terms time. 11am - 12.15pm - First session on Thursday 17th September 2026. Booking is essential.

Places are limited, so register your interest now to secure your place. Dates and times will be confirmed shortly, and if the session time doesn’t work for you, you can simply let us know.

What to expect

• Sessions run every Thursday 11am - 12.15pm
• Sessions cost £5 per child
• You must register to attend
• First session on Thursday 17th September 2026
• Meet at Main Reception at Senior School (Oswestry School, Upper Brook Street, Oswestry SY11 2TL)
• For children aged 2-4 (with parent or carer supervision)
• Small group size (maximum 12 children) to ensure a calm, supportive experience
• Opportunities to explore, play and connect with nature
• Optional activities include woodland discovery, seasonal crafts or simple outdoor experiences
