About

AI is rapidly changing what leadership teams can realistically deliver with limited time, budget, and capacity, creating new opportunities, new governance challenges, and new questions about risk, ethics, and organisational leadership across the voluntary sector.

This practical session is designed for charity CEOs and senior leaders who want a clear understanding of what AI could genuinely change for their organisation over the next 12 to 24 months, from leadership workload and operational capacity to service delivery, fundraising, communications, and decision making.

The session will explore the real-world applications already helping charity leaders save time, strengthen decision making, improve communications, and increase organisational effectiveness. It will then move into the governance, risk, and ethical considerations organisations need to address in order to adopt AI confidently and responsibly, including the key questions leaders should be asking and the policies and procedures they should have in place.

The session will conclude with practical next steps and a realistic roadmap for getting AI adoption off the ground safely, strategically, and with organisational buy in.

Delegates will gain:

  • A realistic understanding of how AI is changing leadership and capacity across the charity sector
  • Practical examples of real-world AI applications for charity leaders
  • Greater confidence in navigating AI governance, risk, and ethics
  • A clearer understanding of the policies, procedures, and oversight organisations should consider
  • Actionable next steps for introducing AI responsibly and strategically within their organisation
