About
Join us for an informal and engaging evening for our current Year 6 parents and new families considering joining Year 7 and 8 at the Dragon.
Enjoy drinks and canapes while hearing more about the opportunities, experiences and benefits of moving into the Dragon Upper School. There will be plenty of time to meet and chat with members of our senior teaching teams, ask questions and connect with other parents.
The evening will include a panel discussion with:
Emma Goldsmith, Head of the Dragon
Mary-Kate Edwards, Head of Dragon Upper School
Alastair Chirnside, Warden of St Edward’s School
Camilla Smiley, Dragon parent and Education Consultant
We will explore the transition from Year 6 into the Upper School, the breadth of opportunities available to pupils, and how the Dragon prepares children for their next steps beyond school.
You will hear from two Old Dragons, who we will welcome back for the evening to talk about their experience of Years 7 and 8 and how it prepared them for their transition to senior school.
There will also be an opportunity to put your questions to the panel during a Q&A.
Come along, enjoy good food and interesting conversation, and discover why your next step will be such an exciting one at Dragon.
We politely request that this is an adult only event. Thank you.
