SLAM at MOVE, Exeter
Friday 26 March 2027
3 hour set
with Aubrey Fry & Tim French

Three decades of techno. Three hours at MOVE.

On Friday 26 March, SLAM take control of the dancefloor at MOVE, Exeter, for a three-hour set, with Aubrey Fry and Tim French completing the line-up.

One of the most enduring forces in underground techno, Glasgow’s Orde Meikle and Stuart McMillan have spent more than three decades shaping the sound and culture of the scene. From clubs to festival stages across the world, their reputation rests on adventurous DJ sets, explosive live performances and a powerful, contemporary sound.

SLAM’s influence reaches far beyond the booth. Their iconic Soma Records label has released more than a thousand records, including Daft Punk’s earliest singles, the duo’s own landmark productions and music from successive generations of forward-thinking electronic artists. As producers, they remain prolific, creating raw, hypnotic techno built for the dancefloor.

Back in Glasgow, their legendary Pressure parties and longstanding Return To Mono residency at Sub Club reflect a deep connection to the club culture that shaped them. That same commitment runs through Slam Radio, their respected weekly podcast championing underground talent and giving adventurous sounds room to breathe.

At MOVE, a three-hour set gives SLAM time to explore that depth: to build tension, shift direction and draw the room into their world. Expect a night rooted in raw grooves, hypnotic rhythms and the physical energy of techno in a close-up club setting.

Joining them are Aubrey Fry and Tim French, completing a line-up that makes this a date to mark firmly in the diary.
