Hexham Brass and Hayton Community Choir Christmas Concert

Hexham Brass and Hayton Community Choir are excited to present this joint concert of choral and brass music at Hexham Abbey. The unique combination of rich brass tones and the human voice capture the joy and warmth of celebrating Christmas together, and to this end we hope you bring your very best singing voice!

The concert will feature many of your favourite traditional carols and Christmas songs, including music by John Rutter. There will be secular numbers that you will recognise and enjoy by composers such as Gilbert and Sullivan and Karl Jenkins. For the brass banders amongst you, we feature original music by Goff Richards and the creative skills of Darrol Barry. Do please join us for this wonderful evening of festive celebration.
