Half Day Workshop 2027

Spend a morning, afternoon or evening in a beautiful studio, immersing yourself in the fascinating world of fused glass. The Dish/Wave class lasts for 2.5 hours, the lantern workshop lasts for up to 3 hours. Home made cakes and hot drinks are included in both workshops.

You’ll learn about frit, stringers and murrini, then create your own designs, or take inspiration from the pieces on display. No previous experience is required: expert tuition will be provided, and all materials are included.

All workshops include a break for homemade cake and hot drinks.

Mini-Lantern half-day: All 4 panels for a white or black lantern (3 hour class)

Dish/Wave half-day: Start off making a small hanger and then choose from a dish or a wave (2.5 hour class)

Pieces will be kiln-fired at 765°C and transformed into stunning ornamental works of art. Shaped pieces will receive a second firing to slump them into their final form.

Your finished pieces will be ready for collection approximately one week after the workshop.
