On Saturday 8 November we're going to bring together the local community once again to raise money for two local charities, CancerCare and Sandside Lodge School. Proceeds will be split equally between both charities.
CancerCare offers services, free of charge, to those who have been affected by cancer, life shortening illness and bereavement. Sandside Lodge School caters for students aged between four and nineteen who have severe learning difficulties, such as autism, physical difficulties, social interaction and communication differences. The school is currently in the process of fundraising to convert an unused lodge, on site, in to a small not-for-profit community cafe for the students to work in.
