Ermysted's Old Boys Dinner 2026

Our Old Boys' Dinner is back for 2026 with the same informal feel as last year. The food will be served school-dinner style and there'll be a bar and a chance to catch up with old school friends and teachers.

Arrivals/drinks from 4.30pm
Food served 6pm (no allocated seating - just collect your food and sit where you want!)
Short speeches 7.30pm
Event will end at 9.30pm, allowing time to continue your evening in town!

DRESS CODE
There's no specific dress code but you're welcome to wear a suit or jacket with a tie if you'd like to (as at previous Old Boys' Dinners) - but there is no requirement to do this. Smart casual is ideal!

FOOD & DRINKS

• Steak Pie or Chicken & Mushroom Pie - please select at the time of booking
• Vegetarian option of a veggie pie/pasty - please ensure you select the correct option when booking!

Main course will be served with mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables and gravy.

• Dessert: Chocolate sponge and custard

A bar with beers (including 0% options), wines, cider and soft drinks will be available (card/cash payment). NB: no alcohol must be brought onto the premises or taken with you at the end of the event.

PRICES
We have increased the standard ticket price this year to £12 due to rising costs, but we still think this is great value!

If you left school in 2016 or later the ticket price is reduced to £7. We also offer this discount to staff and former staff.
- Pay £12 at the time of booking and receive a £5 bar voucher on arrival at the event.

**Please note that school records will be checked - if you entered attendance dates showing you left in 2016 or later but are not actually eligible for this discount you will not be issued with a voucher on arrival!**

BOOKING FEES
To reduce our workload behind the scenes we're using TryBooking for this event. The platform charges a ticket fee of 15p per ticket, plus a 5% processing fee for collecting your payment and putting it straight into our bank account. We ask you to cover these fees in order to ensure money raised for the school through this event is maximised - thank you for your understanding.
