The Bronze Award is open to all Year 9 students at Scarisbrick Hall School and most young people find it to be a rewarding and memorable experience.

As part of the three-year GCSE Geography course field trips are arranged to enable your son/daughter to be fully prepared for the examination in 2024. Fieldtrips are a compulsory element (minimum of 2 days) in the specification and are directly examined, with questions on skills, risks involved, data collected, and the whole fieldwork process. We have arranged this trip to enable your son/daughter an opportunity to collect the information required in the examination, as well as visit a location we have studied in class. The trip will involve students travelling to Ainsdale beach and collecting primary data to examine the characteristics of Ainsdale sand dune system.

Join former-Premier League Footballer & Pro License Football Coach Alan Stubbs as he leads the Advanced Performance Football Coaching Sessions which is aimed at aspiring young footballers who want to advance their footballing ability whilst developing an understanding of how todays modern player performs at the highest level. Alan will be highlighting the qualities of the modern day player ( position specific) along with looking at ball mastery / passing & dribbling skills. Players will learn individual skills as well as how to attack and defend in certain game scenarios through coaching and small sided games. An evening to celebrate the end of exams

On Monday 24th June Reception will be visiting ‘Imagine That’, for their end of year celebration trip. The children will have the opportunity to enjoy a range of activities and workshops, plus have time to explore the different indoor and outdoor imagination zones. The activities will include an interactive science show and creative workshops such as; making slime, bath bombs and fridge magnets, which children will get to take home with them.
