We are collaborating with 2 other amazing charities Lancashire Women and Community Solutions NW for our Big Sleep Out which is being held at Clitheroe FC Plan is for each charity to get 20 people to attend for Galloways 7pm – Arrive – meet & greet Pies & refreshments will be provided Bar will be open for those that wish to have an alcoholic drink Quiz 10.30pm take our sleeping bags and cardboard pitch side to sleep out under the stars 😊 7am – Finish Registration Fee £20 Sponsorship Fee £150

Chance to learn about Galloways, networking and enjoy nibbles and some refreshments

We are super excited to be hosting David John B's Its A Knockout in the grounds of Howick House this summer. There will be entertainment for you to enjoy, with our main attraction of Teams taking on the It’s A Knockout challenge to support Galloways Society for the Blind and have the chance of becoming a Knockout Hero!

The event will be hosted by UK Firewalk, one of the UK ‘s leading firewalking companies. The walkers will be trained by Scott Bell (Twice Guinness World Record holder for the greatest distance walked on fire) and then walk across hot coals with a temperature over 1000 degrees Fahrenheit

ABOUT Join the Kings guide to the Kent Estuary, Michael Wilson, on the historic bay walk from Arnside to Grange. Although the walk dates back to the era of Henry VIII and the original route was from Hest Bank to Kents Bank, due to the soft sand at Hest Bank, the the route is now Arnside to Grange. The walk from Arnside is a lovely walk with a varied terrain and is between 5.5 to 7.5 miles depending on the safest route.

Galloways Santa’s Grotto returns once again this Christmas in St George’s Shopping Centre… What better way to kick off your festive season this Christmas than a trip to Santa's Grotto? We're delighted to share that sight loss charity, Galloways, is joining St George’s Shopping Centre to bring the festive feeling to Preston this Christmas. For just £5, each child will receive a gift and a printed photograph of their magical moment with Santa. Every child who visits the grotto will have the chance to tell Santa their Christmas wishes. The Galloways Grotto will be open every Saturday and Sunday from 2nd – 17th December and every day from 18th to 24rd December. Walk-in slots will be available; however, to avoid disappointment, we advise you to take advantage of our morning slots, which are available for pre-booking.
